Custom Pet Portrait Pillow Cover.
Send me a picture of your pet and I will create a custom hand-embroidered punch needle portrait! The portrait is made into a huggable pillow to be put on display or snuggled up with.
First I take your portrait into Procreate where I create a rough sketch to determine the yarn colours I will use. This is followed by sketching the outline of the portrait onto a cotton-linen fabric. Then the punch needle embroidery begins! After creating your custom embroidered portrait I apply a strong hold crafting glue to the backside of the yarn to help prevent the yarn from pulling. I sew a protective backing to the embroidered piece and finally I sew a backside to the pillow cover with a zipper.

These pillow covers were requested as a custom set. Hand-embroidered by using a special punch needle technique that results in a chunky stitch effect using varying thicknesses of yarn. With tassel details on the corners.

Puppy Portrait
14” x 12”
This pillow was requested as a Christmas gift. The client provided a few images of a beloved dog, which were then used to achieve his likeness through punch needle embroidery. Varying thicknesses of yarn were used to create shadows and highlights.

This client loved our regular sized Fallen Leaves Tote soooo much, they request an extra large version. They also request pockets at both ends to accommodate water bottles.

Woven Teal Pillows
12” x 16”
These two teal pillow covers were requested by a customer who hand-dyed their own yarn. The variegated teal yarn was sent to me so I could carefully weave these pillows on a hand-operated loom. Finished these off with white and grey tassels.

Knitting Panda

This pillow was requested as a gift. The recipients favourite animal, doing one of their favourite pass-times, knitting. Punch needle embroidery was used to achieve this design.
